This is absolutely the worst book I ever read - clipped sentences, inaccurate and just wrong information. I have a Ph.D. in Music Theory, and this book is a joke. I would learn more from the old basic program "Eliza", that echoes back your own questions. This is not just a poorly written book, it is also wrong. This is music theory at it's worst, and I have seen some pretty sorry teachers, especially at my own college. I am surprised that Amazon.com will agree to sell this book.
