Phrygian mode existed long before jazz and pianos did!This book is an excellent introduction to improvisation, but it does require a lot of work.The scales are already written out for you so half of the battle is over.Everything is presented in a methodical and progressive manner. I find the chord suggestions simply brilliant! A must have for any pianist!
