This book has hundreds of lists of music listed by style.The lists, submitted by musicians, critics, and fans,have short descriptions of the songs, and is also a small music history overview.Perfect little pocket reader for the folks who haven't had much time to discover new stuff.I have downloaded many songs that have been a delight. The book has also helped me enjoy even more about the songs I already liked. The review on the front says "mind-expanding and irresistible" and I completely agree!

THIS HAS A LOT OF TITLES THAT DON'T QUITE FIT IN A JAZZ OR BLUES CATAGORY. THIS MAINLY FOCUSES ON NOVELITY PIANO SOLOS AND RAGTIME MUSIC LONG FORGOTTEN. A MUST FOR ANY ZEZ CONFREY OR LEE SIMS FAN! I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE BOOKS LIKE THIS IN PRINT.
