Although any seasoned jazz musician can figure out how to construct chords based on the scale notes, this is a great book for beginners and intermediate jazz musicians. Many of these chords are not in "root" position, but rather first, second and third inversions.Great chord diagrams with keyboard illustration and notation of the piano illustration. All of these chords can be "tweaked" by flatting or sharping notes, or even adding more notes (e.g., #11, etc.).For some reason, I couldn't find the *maj7-5 (very commonly used in jazz).
